**ROLE DETAILS**
**Location**: Adelaide, South Australia

**Pay rate**: $35-40 per hour + Super (depending on experience, can be employed or contractor)

**Hours**:8am-5pm

**Children**:16 month old and 3 year old

**Start date**:As soon as they find the right person.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Permanent Australian Residency
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- 3+ years of experience with young children.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

The children's needs and personalities have guided the parents' approach to raising their children. They are seeking an experienced caregiver who is comfortable with attachment parenting and Montessori home learning in the early years. Consistency and compassion are essential, and they look forward to developing a wonderful long-term relationship with their nanny as they settle into their new city.

They are living temporarily in the CBD but searching for a home in the inner suburbs (exact location to be determined).

**ABOUT THE FAMILY**
This close and loving family recently arrived in Adelaide from the UK with a plan to stay long-term. Both parents are professionals working part-time, so they each have several weekdays with their children. They value a gentle and firm parenting style that respects their children's autonomy while encouraging positive behaviour and promoting good morals.

Their 3 year old girl is passionate and independent. She thrives on building strong connections with attentive caregivers. She is an early reader and loves to learn. Their 16 month old boy is active, loves to eat, and is gaining more and more independence each day. He takes one nap a day (typically in a ring sling up until now). They both adore music, being outdoors, and one another

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
