**Geraldton Health Campus**
Geraldton Health Campus has 66 hospital beds for acute medical, surgical, paediatric and maternity patients with a 24-hour Emergency Department, onsite chemotherapy, and renal dialysis.

It provides a comprehensive range of patient care services including medical imaging and pathology. Visiting specialists provide varied learning opportunities for junior doctors across a range of specialties.

Located about 450km from Perth, Geraldton is the capital of Western Australia’s Midwest and gateway to the magnificent Abrolhos Islands.

Geraldton has an enviable Mediterranean climate and a relaxed seaside lifestyle which lends itself to a host of activities, especially water sports.

There are good schools in the residential areas which are located a short drive from the hospital.

Geraldton Hospital offers a broad range of services, which provide excellent clinical experience and an outstanding educational program for interns and residents.

There is a good track record of the trainees from here progressing to higher training jobs. The Medicine Department is looking forward to start a Basic Physician Training program.

The hospital offers an excellent supported environment that exposes the trainees to a spectrum of disease and practical learning opportunities.

**Travel**
Return flights will be provided and paid for by the hospital.

**Accommodation**
Self-contained accommodation will be paid for and provided by the hospital and no cost to the doctor.

**The vehicle** will be provided by the hospital at no cost to the doctor.
