**In this role, you'll**:
Provide assistance to technicians working on XPT cars and other rolling stock to contribute to the reliability and availability levels for the diesel passenger fleet.

This Labourer position is a non skilled role and an opportunity for you to assist the maintenance centre with various labour activities such as; underbelly train washing, helping tradesmen, cleaning depot facilities, unloading/loading delivery trucks.
- 4 weekly rotating roster
- Mix of 10 and 12 hr shifts
- Average 4 days on and 3 - 6 days off (Overtime when required).

**About you**

You’re reliable, poractive and have the ability to work collaboratively with Trades staff across a variety of departments.

The following are desirable but not essential:

- Trade background
- Train maintenance experience
- Current C Class Drivers Licence

**This is an in-person, on-site permanent full-time role based at the XPT Sydenham maintenance centre.**
