We currently have an excellent opportunity for two experienced Maintenance Fitters to join our Kensington based maintenance team.

To meet the responsibilities of our role you will need to be able to:

- Address and resolve issues associated with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in our food production plant
- Pursue the continuous improvement of our plant equipment and systems
- Work closely with management in relation with maintenance and equipment issues
- Have a clear focus on quality and safety

You will also need:

- Trade qualifications
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of food quality and safety procedures
- Experience in a relevant maintenance and repair environment, preferably food or beverage
- MIG, TIG and stainless steel welding skills
- A sound knowledge of basic electrical components and possess a disconnect/connect license
- Good fault finding skills and a sound knowledge in pneumatics
- General machining and fabrication skills

If you can meet the above requirements, we can provide an excellent secure opportunity with a better than average hourly rate and paid overtime.

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Kensington, VIC 3031 (required)
