Weighbridge Operator

We are offering an opportunity for the right person to join a great team and to become part of a growing, successful business. The position is located at Burton South Australia. We are offering a full-time, permanent role 5 ½ days a week for the right person.

**Job Role**:

- Running the weigh bridge including issuing of tickets and processing of those tickets in our accounting system
- Provide clear communication to truck drivers and other operational staff to ensure safe movement of vehicles on site.
- Scheduling deliveries and organising transport contractors
- Issuing quotes
- General office administration duties including some data entry
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Maintain frontline engagement with customers and site visitors by assisting with queries.

**Skills required**:

- White card or ability to obtain
- Previous experience in a weigh bridge in a quarry environment, or have general experience in a construction materials environment is an advantage
- Intermediate computer skills
- Relevant construction tickets/licences not essential but viewed favourably
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational & communication skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure and be able to multi-task
- Excellent customer service with a friendly and bright manner and a can-do attitude
- Ability to learn and problem solve
- Punctuality and reliability are essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $24.15 - $37.79 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Waterloo Corner, SA 5110: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
