Housekeeping Supervisor

The Alzburg Resort is a 4-star resort located in the heart of Mansfield, with access to the North East High Country. It is only a short drive to Mt Buller and a 2.5-hour drive from Melbourne CBD. The resort has 44 rooms comprising studios, hotel spa rooms, and apartments. The resort also has an onsite tour company and ski hire outlet which operates throughout the winter season.

Note: This is not seasonal work, and **please note: Accommodation is not provided.** House letting in the town is widely available.

**What You’ll Do**:
You will provide an exceptional experience to our guests by working in your skilled area or across multiple areas of the business, including reservations, housekeeping, and when needed in food & beverage. You may be rostered to perform hands-on duties in all aspects of day-to-day operations, such as:

- **Housekeeping**: Your daily tasks will focus more on cleaning and servicing guest rooms and public areas, maintaining clean and organized storerooms, managing cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently, and organizing housekeeping staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- **Front Office**: Welcoming guests, handling reservations and bookings, and communicating guest needs to other departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support the housekeeping team
- Perform hands-on housekeeping and laundry duties
- Assist with daily operations and ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Provide leadership and guidance to new staff
- Support other departments such as Front Office or Food & Beverage when required
- Control and monitor the wages budget for the housekeeping department
- Work collaboratively with other team members

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is essential**:

- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Must be available to work weekends and during peak periods

Pay: $30.00 - $57.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week
