We're looking for a passionate, dedicated sales assistant/s to join our team for the Christmas period and beyond.

A Quirk of Fate is a small team and we’re seeking someone who is willing to join the team on a long term basis. We require someone who is mature, reliable and who has an understanding of small business.

We’re seeking someone who has a particular passion for supporting local designers, makers and small business and understands what our business is about. Knowledge of the brands that we stock is a bonus.

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the following:

- strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers
- a genuine sales approach
- an ambitious drive to achieve targets
- have proven ability to co-ordinate effective team communication
- ability to work independently, displaying initiative and a strong ability to prioritise and multi-task
- proficient in stock management and inventory
- visual merchandising experience
- commitment to continuous improvement through goal planning
- well presented and show strong organisation and communications skills
- be punctual and reliable

Experience using Lightspeed point of sale and Shopify is highly regarded as well as a knowledge and/or experience with social media management.

We currently have 2-5 days per week available which we’re willing to offer as one position or possibly split into two. Working weekends is essential on a rotating roster. You MUST have full availability from the 17th of November until Christmas.

Pay: $34.48 - $48.27 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 13 per week

- Northcote VIC 3070: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
