Wireless Technician

Due to an exciting phase of growth, Linkforce is currently seeking a **Wireless Technician** to join our **Linkforce Communications** Team.

Based out of our Forrestfield workshop, this role will see you installing, commissioning and integrating Wireless Telecommunications Mobiles Base Station and Transmission equipment throughout Perth, WA and Australia.

As a founder led, privately owned business with operations across the Pilbara and Goldfields, Linkforce provides maintenance shutdown services and project delivery services to the mining, industrial, telecommunications and energy markets.

**What’s on offer**
- Working within Telstra, Optus, TPG and NBN
- Maintain, Install, commission, and integrate Wireless Telecommunication equipment including:

- Install Radio Base Stations, Terminating Hybrid-flex Cables & Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, combiner
- Install and maintain WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/ NBN technologies
- Testing, Commissioning and fault finding or wireless Telecommunications systems
- Installation, testing and commissioning of Microwave radio systems
- Completing all As-built and Hand-Over documents
- Implementing detailed Design / Construction Pack

**What’s Required**
- 3 years + experience in Wireless Telecommunications industry
- A valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Construction White Card
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Understanding of quality control and continuous improvement
- Complete understanding of HSE practices, SWMS, JHA’s, MOP’s
- Australian Work Rights (residential or visa)
- Be able to pass ongoing AOD Screens and a full medical

- Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Downer Inductions
- Tower Rescue
- RF / EME Awareness
- Working at Heights
- Certificate III in Telecommunications, or higher
