The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification team is seeking a driven, talented, creative, and experienced Program Manager to collaboratively implement global, world class, multi-level AWS STEM education programs to address the ever-increasing demand for cloud IT professionals. As a Program Manager in the AWS Education Programs team, with your passion for diversity, equity, and intentional inclusion of underrepresented students in STEM, you will help implement and scale a cloud skills program for learners ages 13-18. This program will address and reinforce essential problem-solving skills, computer science principles, cloud knowledge and professional dispositions for future STEM careers. You will help develop direct instruction, virtual learning, teacher professional development, community outreach, relevant scenario-based projects, and a commitment to rigor in developing and honing cloud IT skills. Because we pioneer at Amazon, you will need to think differently about how learners learn, and to be creative and forward-thinking in your approach to addressing big challenges and embracing novel solutions. In this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to work well with internal and external stakeholders, school system leaders, teachers, and students. Please note this role will require up to 25% travel. This role is open across any Amazon office locations in Australia.
- An AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level certification
- Teacher certification in Career and Technical Education or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Recent experience in a fast-paced, multinational technology company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
