Tennis Coach

**LOCATION**:Inner West, Sydney NSW

**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Employee must have own car
- Employee should be willing to drive and training in multiple location in a day
- Motivating and teaching students/players of all ages
- Organizing lesson plans and activities
- Preparing training plans suitable to age groups and their abilities
- Directing players to warm up prior to training and matches to reduce the risk of injury and improve performance
- Instructing and guiding students about correct techniques ( e.g., forehand, backhand and serving), strategies and tennis principles
- Maintaining and preparing equipment for use
- Observing players and providing feedback about speed, endurance, and coordination, based on their strengths and weaknesses

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate 4 and Diploma in Tennis Coaching
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children clearance

**Experience**:

- 2 years Tennis coaching (or related sport coaching) experience across a range from beginners to adults.

**Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good organizational skills
- Punctual
- Well mannered
- Awareness of private school requirements and duty of care
- Flexible and able to work in with other sports
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain effective working relationships.
- Able to work on own initiative and follow verbal and written instructions.

**PERFORMANCE GOALS**:

- Represent Leichhardt Tennis Academy in a professional manner
- Deliver high levels of student and parent satisfaction
- Always present well, be well groomed, clean uniform at all times

**SALARY PACKAGE**:

- **$75.000 (+ super) **minimum
