bout the role* You will need to be friendly, and positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You will also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference and be honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team. You will be providing assistance in the home and in the community, such as:

- Transport
- Shopping
- Personal care
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Social and community access *What We're Looking For* Availability Monday - Friday, Possibly weekend work
- Minimum 25 hours per week availability
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in aged care, disability, home & community care is a must.
- Strong Manual Handling experience
- Experience in providing care for aged care or disability clients.
- Knowledge of person-centred care principles and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Must be located and willing to travel up to 30mins within desirable areas.
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Must have a valid driver license, access to a reliable car with fully comprehensive car insurance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Valid National Police Check
- Updated First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain one
- Blue Card
- COVID19 Vaccination (mandatory) Job Type: Casual Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 - 36 per week Benefits:
