**Production Planner**:
**About the role**:
Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking for a **Production Planner** to join our large manufacturing site at **Wollongong**.

You will drive daily operations to support the planning, coordinating and monitoring of the production and dispatch plan. The team is the key point of contact for our schedulers, production and logistics staff, where you will deliver critical outcomes each day.
- Liaising with Shop floor, Scheduling team and Customer Service Officers, to obtain forecasts of future production
- Ongoing communication with the production and logistics team to monitor production capabilities to plan accordingly
- Planning and allocation of daily truck loads. Monitor driver activity through the day via GPS tracking systems
- Communication with customers, drivers and loaders on all delivery matters
- Managing expectations of stakeholders at all levels, to ensure a consistent production and delivery function
- Driving continuous improvement across the business unit, to support high performance and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company WHS policies and procedures

**About your experience**:
It’s important that you have a can-do attitude and reprioritise as the day progresses; managing large projects and day to day customers.
- Production Planning experience
- Building products or Manufacturing experience
- A proven track record of managing complex deadlines
- Experience using various software packages such as Arma and Symix
