**The Company**:
Machine Operators required to join our client, who are a global flexible packaging manufacturer for the food industry based in Coburg. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will primarily be setting & operating digital printing presses, laminators, slitters and pouch manufacturing machines. Additional duties will include troubleshooting, minor repairs & basic maintenance tasks, all whilst maintaining high quality and safety standards. With operations throughout the United States, Canada, the UK, with Indonesia and additional expansion underway, this is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment for all team members.

**The position requirements include, but are not limited to**:

- Setting & operating high speed machines and performing changeovers
- Troubleshooting, making machine adjustments and basic maintenance tasks
- Reading & following SOP’s
- Strictly following all required safety and quality procedures

**Training is provided, but to be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following**:

- Digital printing industry experience - highly advantageous
- Proven experience in a high speed industrial or FMCG environment
- Proven machine operating experience with a strong mechanical aptitude
- A current forklift licence
- An understanding of GMP and 5S manufacturing principles
- A team player mentality with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a high attention to detail
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

**Hours/Rates**

Day shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm, $30.85 - $35 per hour (negotiable)

Afternoon shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, $30.85 - $35 per hour (negotiable) + 20% shift loading
