**About the business**

QC Comms are leaders in the Telecommunications optical fibre and wireless technology industry with offices located in NSW, QLD, ACT and VIC.

We are currently seeking an experienced and experience Truck Driver to join our operations team based out of Bella Vista.

Work in closely with our National Logistics Manager and current Storeperson to support the delivery of a major telecommunications project.

**The term**
We are initially offering a 6 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. This role is supporting a extensive project with ongoing delivery requirements over a number of years.

**Procurement side of the role**
- Chasing up quotes for construction materials
- Raising purchase orders
- Checking availability and lead times for materials

**Warehouse involvement**
- Coordinating pickups and deliveries with our Truck Driver
- Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange materials accordingly.
- Inventory Management - Maintaining an accurate record of all materials received and distributed.

- Communicating with the project team any discrepancies or material supply issues.
- Thoroughly inspecting materials for any damage or discrepancies.
- Ensuring that OH&S Policy requirements are always observed and followed.

**Who we are looking for**

We are looking for someone who is safety conscious, takes pride in their work, is detail-oriented.

In addition to this, you will need:

- Experience in a procurement function
- Microsoft Office skills (including Excel)
- Counter balance forklift licence
- Warehouse experience
- Effective communication skills.
- Good coordination/scheduling skills
- The right to work in Australia is ESSENTIAL
