About the Role

We are seeking 3 x **dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Support Workers** **(Males strong encouraged to apply)** to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants in the Sans Souci & Liverpool regions helping them work towards their personal goals, build independence, and improve their overall wellbeing.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Providing emotional and practical support to participants with psychosocial disabilities.
- Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and budgeting.
- Encouraging community participation and social inclusion.
- Assisting participants in building coping strategies, resilience, and self-confidence.
- Following NDIS plans and documenting progress in line with compliance requirements.
- Promoting independence while respecting participant choice and control.

About You

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and passionate about making a difference.

**Essential Requirements**:

- At least 1 year experience in mental health, disability, or community services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive, professional relationships.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and person-centred practices.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Current Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Be able to communicate in clear written and spoken English.

**Desirable**:

- Certificate III/IV in Mental Health, Disability, or Community Services (or working towards).
- Lived experience of mental health challenges (valued but not required).
- Knowledge of Shiftcare platform
- Technology Savvy
