Restaurant Supervisor

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- **Working and managing a team**

As part of the managing role, you will need to _work alongside_ staff by faciliating support, having challenging conversations and providing training. As well as working and managing a team, you will need to communicate with the owner and the existing manager. Cornerstone Pizzeria is wanting to have 2 managers to support flexibility, time off and reduce staff burn out.
- **Working on the floor**

The managing role at Cornerstone is not simply just directing orders. You will need to work on the floor by serving customers, taking orders, cleaning and setting up tables. A great manager is one who is able to model behaviours to their staff. They need to see what being successful looks like.
- **Opening and closing**

As part of the managing role it involves opening and closing the restaurant. Training will be provided on what this specially looks like, but it may involve cleaning, setting up tables/functions, stock and money handling.
- **Bar knowledge**

Being a manager requires flexibility which would mean also jumping into the bar. This means coffee, cocktails and basic bar knowledge will be needed. Training is provided but experience is preffered.

Experience in the following areas will support a successful candiate:

- Demonstrated bar / venue management and leadership experience
- People person, ability to teach, train and nurture your team
- An understanding and ability to implement financial budgets, forecasting & stock management
- Beverage & cocktail knowledge
- Front of house knowledge
- Work autonomously along with guidance from Senior Management
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite and POS programming
- Must have full work-rights in Australia

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

- Coburg, VIC 3058: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
