Dci Repair Technician

**Company Overview**:
Thompson, Kelly & Lewis Pty. Ltd. trading as Flowserve Australia Pump Division is seeking a qualified and experienced DCI/Repair Technician for their Quick Response/Repair Centre (QRC). The DCI (Disassemble, Clean, Inspect)/Repair Technician is responsible for the disassembly, refurbishment, assembly, shop testing, commissioning of pumps and associated equipment, general machinery, diagnostics, inspection and reporting of customer supplied product

**Accountabilities**:

- Clean, dismantle, inspect, measure and report condition of customer supplied product, (as required)
- Plan, organise and ensure that all repair activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support the execution and fulfilment of the repair jobs through:

- Assembly and testing of customer products and equipment
- Measurement of all critical dimensions and ensure surfaces finishes are correct.
- Strip and inspection reports, including completion of discrepancy reports.
- Machining various components and parts.
- Complete components within specified dimensions and finish.
- Rework components as required.
- Ensure work orders are booked to specified jobs.
- Meet OH&S requirements.

**Educational/Experience Required**
- Trade Certification with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Extensive experience with pump repair, machining and fitting.
- Good communication skills.
- Report writing capabilities.

**Special Skills Required**:

- Good knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment.
- Experience / Knowledge of Flowserve products.

This role may require additional hours of work (paid at premium rates) and intra and interstate travel to customer sites for repair/commissioning work.

The base annual salary for the role will be between $84,968 to $90,896 depending on qualifications and experience.
