Western Distributors in Sunshine are looking to employ a full-time storeperson to work in their carpet storeroom. Work hours are 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

**Duties & responsibilities**
The person we are seeking to employ will be required to:

- pick and pack orders, including measuring and cutting lengths of carpets;
- load and unload trucks using a forklift;
- perform general store work; and
- perform general cleaning duties.

Sales ability would be an advantage.

**Skills & experience**
The skills and experience you need to perform this role include:

- Storeperson experience, preferably working with carpet products
- A forklift licence and experience operating a forklift
- Drivers licence
- Good interpersonal skills
- Literacy skills (able to read and write to a good, basic standard)
- Good numerical skills
- Ability to perform heavy manual handling work
- A strong work ethic
- Sales experience would be an advantage
