**About the Role**:
As a **Principal Resource Geologist**, you will lead resource estimation projects, provide technical expertise, and mentor junior geologists. You will work on multi-commodity projects, ensuring high standards in geological modeling, estimation, and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Technical Work**:

- Deliver high-quality technical reports and resource estimations in compliance with JORC, NI 43-101, and other reporting standards.
- Perform geological modeling, wireframing, and data validation.
- Conduct Competent Person/Qualified Person site visits and sign off on reports.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

**Operational & Time Management**:

- Maintain effective communication with the General Manager Resources and Reserves.
- Manage project schedules and technical logistics.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and milestones.

**Client & Business Development**:

- Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
- Identify new business opportunities and promote consultancy services.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and client meetings.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- BSc in Geoscience (MSc or higher preferred).
- Advanced coursework in geo-statistics (Geo-statistics degree preferred).
- 15+ years of industry experience, including 10+ years in resource estimation.
- Multi-commodity experience with expertise in mineral systems.
- Competent/Qualified Person status for at least one commodity.

**Core Competencies**:
**Technical**:

- Strong technical writing skills and understanding of advanced estimation techniques.
- Expertise in geo-statistics, public reporting (JORC, NI 43-101), and QA/QC systems.
- Proficiency in drilling, sampling techniques, database software, 3D modeling, estimation software, and GIS tools.

**Behavioral**:

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
- Analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail.
