The Leading Hand Production is responsible for the coordination of staff, equipment and materials between the HME factory, sales clients, service clients and the project site.

The role ensures that the workshop is run safely, efficiently and aligned with production planning requirements. In addition the role is responsible for project deliverables, stock and consumable procurement as well as ensuring team skill acquisition meets production demands. Recent capital equipment acquisitions require bedding down along with streamlining shop floor processes.

Specific duties include:

- Completing shop floor tool box meeting covering WHS responsibilities
- Job scheduling for plant.
- Determining procurement requirements for raw materials, components, services and resources.
- Stock control.
- General logistics in relation to warehousing, transport, storage and deliveries
- Participate in project meetings to get an understanding of future work demands
- Train new team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Yagoona, NSW 2199: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- supervising: 3 years (preferred)
