**How will I help?**

An Exciting opportunity is available for a **Cloud Site Reliability Engineer - Azure **within the Enterprise and Compute Storage Services team in Group Technology. This plays an important role in the development and maintenance of technical solutions on the public cloud and ensures that the detailed design, build, and operations are fit for purpose.

Your key responsibilities may include:

- Through automation collect Service-Level Indicators (SLIs)
- Through automation contribute to establishing Service-Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Through automation fulfill Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Improve performance of SLAs
- Development and where applicable the codification of operations playbooks
- Level 3 maintenance of cloud platform including change activities
- Level 3 operations for the banks cloud platform including On-Call responsibilities
- Maintain focus on industry and technical trends to enable evaluation and recommend changes to the business strategy/ architecture and Azure offerings, and automation and orchestration of services.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management experience and be self-driven. In addition to this, your skills may include:

- Hands-on experience with Azure Technologies with a deep understanding of the foundational platform including Subscriptions, Resource Groups, RBAC etc
- Experience in one or more DevOps automation tools - BitBucket, Jira, Jenkins.
- Experience in IaC and infrastructure management tools - Terraform
- Knowledge in scripting and developing tools including - Bash/Shell, Ruby, JSON, Python, NodeJS, JavaScript.
- Experience in developing CICD pipelines - Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Troubleshooting in Azure technologies and across multiple consumption models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
- Agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, SAFe, TDD, BDD, customer centric design.
- Customer engagement, relationship development, requirements gathering and delivery planning and scheduling.
- AWS cloud certification is highly desired.
