We are seeking a Finance Officer to assist the School Leadership Team with a wide variety of financial tasks to support the financial operations of the school. Under the direction of the Principal, you will coordinate financial administration activities and provide support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines. Duties include: - reconciliation of accounts - cashier and banking duties - data entry - school fee distribution and report preparation. Skills and Experience - Ideally have previous experience in an accounts or finance role - Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail - Skillful negotiation ability and an ability to liaise with the school’s clients with empathy - Highly organised - Demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion - Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Experience with the Brisbane Catholic Education finance system - D365 would be advantageous.
