- **Salary -** **Classification - AHP2 - Allied Health Professional L2 - $88,255 to $102,240**:

- **Full time - Temporary for 6 months (up to June 30, 2025)**

**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Yarrow Place Rape and Sexual Assault Service as a** Social Worker** in a **Full time, temporary role**up to 30 June 2025.
- Providing comprehensive one to one therapeutic counselling.
- Contributing to and supporting a range of research initiatives and projects.
- Providing education and training programs.
- Contributing to the development of service goals and strategies.

**About you**:

- If you have the qualification of a Degree in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) (overseas qualifications must supply the AASW Overseas Assessment number).

**And have**:

- Demonstrated experience providing crisis interventions and trauma care.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and contribute towards a cohesive team culture.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide crisis and long-term counselling.
- Feminist and human rights frameworks for understanding and responding to sexual violence and complex trauma, including intimate partner violence, childhood sexual abuse, rape and sexual assault.
- A high level of written and oral communication skills including proven ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
