We are seeking a Cardiac Registries Data Processor to provide accurate and timely processing of data that supports reporting from various databases to the Committee, Board, Clinicians and Regions within required timeframes. This is a Full Time, Permanent position currently based in Blackburn North Business Centre with possibility of WFH hybrid work arrangements.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Registry Coordinator, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Checking AV electronic Patient Care Records, dispatch data, hospital data and patient follow-up data for accuracy and completeness and confirm for entry into VACAR and VASQI;
- Maintaining up to date and accurate records on data entry and quality control status to enable straightforward cross-validation of data;
- Providing input into design process to improve the efficiency of the registries;
- Developing close working relationships with relevant business units, ensuring business unit needs and requirements are understood and met.
**About you**
You are self-motivated with a high attention to detail. To be considered for this position, you will possess:
- A clinical tertiary qualification such as Nursing, Health Science or Health Information (desirable, but not essential);
- Proven experience with clinical data entry, data cleaning and manipulation;
- Demonstrated experience with databases including some basic programmingk;
- A high level of data entry and keyboard skills;
- Ability to operate in an environment requiring teamwork, combined with the need to maintain confidentiality;
- Experience in the health sector, the university sector or emergency services would be an advantage;
- A current Victorian Driver Licence.

Successful applicants will need to have received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including a Police Check.
This position is classified under the AEAV award and the salary on offer is **$59,462** per annum plus 10.5% superannuation.
