Civil Enginner Draftsperson

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Technical Drawing and Design**:

- Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using 2D & 3D CAD and Inventor software for civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, buildings, and other structural components.
- Develop comprehensive engineering drawings and schematics, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications and requirements.
- **Collaboration with Engineering Teams**:

- Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine design solutions that meet project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, and execution phases of projects, providing technical support and expertise in drafting and design.
- **Revisions and Modifications**:

- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the hoist team, clients, and other relevant parties to ensure accuracy and compliance with project needs.
- Incorporate changes and improvements into existing designs, maintaining a high standard of quality and precision.
- **Compliance and Standards**:

- Ensure all drawings and designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in industry standards and technological advancements to ensure designs meet current requirements.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain organised and up-to-date documentation of all drafts, revisions, and final drawings, ensuring easy access and reference for ongoing and future projects.
- Develop and manage a systematic filing system for all project documentation.
- **Product Development and Innovation**:

- Assist in the development of new products and enhancements to existing designs, contributing innovative ideas and technical expertise to improve functionality and efficiency.
- Participate in research and development activities, exploring new design methodologies and materials.
- **Site Visits and Inspections**:

- Conduct site visits and inspections as required to gather data, verify design feasibility, and ensure drawings accurately reflect site conditions.
- Provide on-site technical support and guidance during the construction and installation phases of projects.
- **Support in Project Management**:

- Provide technical support to project management teams, ensuring that drafting deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and presentations, leveraging technical drawings and data.

**Skills required**:

- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD & Inventor
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in the hoist construction industry is a plus.

Experience: At least 1 Year of relevant experience in high rise or civil engineering and drafting fields.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
