**In this Associate Director role, you will**
- Keep abreast of Australian and global tax developments and their impacts on NAB.
- Preparation of responses to queries and information requests from revenue authorities.
- Documentation of tax compliance and data reporting obligations, end-to-end processes and controls; implementation of tax policy procedures.
- work within the Group Tax team to deliver accurate reporting to the ATO in respect of NAB’s Data reporting obligations (e.g. Common Reporting Standard and FATCA) and to identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce compliance risk.
- Establish and foster strong relationships with the Finance and business unit community as well as Group Tax.
- Share best digitization practices across Group Tax and make value contributions to global tax transformation.

**What you will bring**
- Strong tax technical skills with specialist tax experience working in a chartered accounting firm or corporate role with a financial service and/or international tax law background.
- Experience with engaging industry bodies around tax reform and industry tax issues.
- Financial Services industry experience, Undergraduate qualification (Law, Financial or Commercial) preferred but not essential.
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential materials.
- Work supportively and flexibly with colleagues to ensure deliverables achieved in timely manner.
- Actively building relationships within and across business streams, functional areas, and regions.
