**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement tailored exercise programs based on client needs, medical conditions, and rehabilitation goals.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate clients on safe and effective exercise techniques, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, doctors, and allied health professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and support for clients managing chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, musculoskeletal disorders, and obesity.
- Conduct group exercise sessions or one-on-one therapy as required.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in exercise physiology.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, professional standards, and workplace policies.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) (or eligibility for accreditation).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design and implement individualized exercise programs for diverse populations.
- Experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification (required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
