**About the Role**:
Our client is seeking a skilled “Internal IT technician” to join their team and help ensure that all internal users receive excellent IT support. As the IT technician, you will be responsible for resolving issues and ensuring that our IT infrastructure and equipment are always adequate to enable efficient service delivery. You'll also keep an eye on our IT services, making sure that adequate bandwidth, hardware, security, and infrastructure are available to support seamless business operations.
We are looking for someone who can not only oversee and continuously monitor our IT network and platforms but also identify any gaps and provide assistance or initiate training for staff who require help with the operating system.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide telephone and ticketing support to internal and external customers.
- Investigating, diagnosing, and assessing basic technical problems.
- As a senior member of our technical team, you will also provide troubleshooting support and mentoring to other members of the IT Support Technician team.
- Document all customer interactions in our Professional Services Automation (PSA) system.
- Collaborate with the Technical & Engineering team to diagnose problems and identify corrective actions for customers.
- Review and update knowledge base and technical support documentation to reflect current technical information on process or product.
- Support clients within all SLA metrics and maintain communication throughout the entire process of incident management.
- Work with third party vendors and software providers to maintain and resolve product issues for our clients’ systems.
- Follow agreed process and procedures by logging issues, requests and questions.
**Other Duties**
- To assist with workshop related tasks & duties, specifically coordinating deliveries, new workstation/laptop deployments.
- To assist with the procurement and set up of hardware deliveries for projects.
- To provide ad-hoc or scheduled on-site IT support for our clients where issues cannot be resolved remotely, or where on-site support is a requirement.
**About you**:
**Required attributes**:
- 2+ years professional experience in an IT Support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365 and cloud-based enterprise software, hardware and networks
- Excellent understanding of IT processes and familiarity with standards and best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner face to face, on the telephone and in writing.
- Be a self-motivated individual and team player.
- Excellent time management, administration and organisational skills.
- Flexible approach to work, positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to proactively take on new tasks.
- Ability to use initiative, work independently, to deadlines, managing conflicting priorities.
- A desire to progress within IT and develop technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
