Drainer/ Pipelayer

Ferrycarrig Construction is currently seeking experienced, full-time Drainers/Pipelayers to join our team on projects throughout Sydney and NSW.
To be suitable for the role, you will hold a relevant Drainage/Plumbing trade qualification, or have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
**Responsibilities and duties include**, but are not limited to:

- Excavate and level to line, depth and grade according to drawings and specifications;
- Set out and install below ground concrete and PVC sanitary and storm-water pipes;
- Carry out site drainage and dewatering procedures, employing storm-water, sub-soil and pumped systems;
- Test drainage systems;
- Locate and clear blockages in below ground systems;
- Install excavation supports in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements;
- Dig trenches to desired, or required depths by hand or using trenching tools or machinery;
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements;
- Cut pipes to required lengths

**About You**
- Must be trade qualified
- 3 years of experience on large-scale civil project facilities an advantage
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons are encouraged to apply.

- **$60,000- $75,000 based on experience
