**About the position**

The Assistant Environmental Health Officer will also be required to maintain Council’s registers, provide administrative support to the Planning, Environment and Regulatory Services Department, demonstrate high levels of customer service and have excellent organisational skills.

**About you**
- Certificate IV in Business Administration, Local Government or similar, or relevant experience in Local Government/State Government or relevant experience in hospitality (food service)
- Current NSW Drivers License
- Developed high level of communication, literacy, numeracy and computer skills
- Demonstrated high level of customer service and time management skills
- Interest in gaining a career in Environmental Health
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description)
- Demonstrated Fundamental key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in the Position Description)

**We offer**
- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
- Salary from $60,773 to $65,579 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
