We currently have an opportunity for a **Technical Asset Manager**to join our Health and Education team located at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and help to assist development and execution of the asset management plans and strategies through high-quality solutions, data analysis, and compliance with accreditation requirements. Reporting to the Operations Manager you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

**What You’ll Do**

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

- Develop and maintain strategic asset solutions, update the Asset Management Plan (AMP) annually, provide technical governance on major projects, and support the annual operational budget.
- Managing asset lifecycle projects including planning and scheduling, procurement, implementation and commissioning of works, and all reporting (including financial) to agreed timelines and budgets.
- Effectively manage time to ensure all duties are completed within required timeframes, as per the Services Specification.Undertake contractor management to ensure safe working practices are met, including safety compliance and undertaking inductions.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Demonstrated experience in Asset Management, Maintenance Facilities Management fields.
- Experience and / or demonstrated exposure to asset performance, maintaining integrity while balancing cost, productivity, and stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering.Certified Asset management practitioner preferred (CAAM, CPAM, CSAM)
