**Introduction to the Role**:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to provide construction scheduling and control support for a major greenfield project in Yatala QLD. This is a new role and will report to the Construction Program Manager. The Construction Scheduler will work across a variety of stakeholders, supporting upcoming projects that span cross-functional teams and divisions.

Please note this is a 100% site based position working from 6:30am - 3:30pm attending prestart and collating site datata from contractors and staekholders to feed into the master schedule and plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop the construction schedule in collaboration with the Project Scheduler, Apollo PM, Construction Manager, Infrastructure PM & Infrastructure Procurement Manager.
- Assist procurement with schedule windows for each of the construction package RFQs.
- Review construction resource allocation, histograms and levelling.
- Generate construction critical path/near critical path analysis.
- Undertake construction schedule risk analysis once overall schedule is developed.
- Provide technical leadership in the area of construction scheduling.
- Create and maintain construction schedules that feed into the Integrated Master Schedule/s.
- Interface with relevant planning positions in functional areas.
- Regularly update active construction schedules on agreed cycle, typically issuing weekly.
- Contribute to project and construction reviews.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Advanced Knowledge of Primavera and MS Project (ESSENTIAL)
- Proven experience in construction scheduling and control support.
- Knowledge of good scheduling practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation planning.
