Cleaners/cleaning Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of college buildings;
- General cleaning duties involving but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping and dusting of classrooms and furniture;
- Toilet cleaning involving but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, wiping and dusting of toilet bowls, basin, mirrors, walls, windows and floors;
- Maintain all cleaning related equipment and supplies to an acceptable standard;
- Complete cleaning checklists;
- Identify and report improvement ideas for efficiency of day to day cleaning tasks;
- Ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace environment by reporting any health and safety hazards. Comply with College workplace health and safety policy and procedures at all times; and
- Work cohesively as a team member and as required, assisting team members to ensure all work tasks are completed.

In addition to the above, we are looking for a Clearing Supervisor who can:

- Organise the roster for all casual cleaners;
- Order and replenish cleaning supplies.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to work a minimum of two hour shifts in the morning and/or afternoon during the week;
- Professional and reliable cleaner, able to work without supervision and with high attention to detail;
- Previous experience in a similar role, ability to cope with the physical demands of the job and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills;
- Ability to perform tasks of the scheduled cleaning and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures;
- Be a practising Christian who is active in their own church and whole-heartedly subscribe to the Statement of Faith;
- Have or be willing to obtain a ‘Working with Children Blue Card’ prior to commencement;
- Be eligible to work in Australia; and
- Have a current First Aid certificate and CPR or willing to obtain.
