Head of Communications - Wholesale Banking

The Head of Communications Wholesale for HSBC in Australia provides communications advice and execution to our fast-growing wholesale businesses (Commercial, Global Banking and Markets and Securities Services) across Australia and New Zealand. You will be the go-to advisor to the respective heads of these business lines and their respective leadership teams.
This is a truly globally connected position means this role reports to the Head of Communications, Australia, while working in close concert with the Australian Wholesale business (Commercial,Global Banking and Markets & Security Services) leadership team, members of the Australia Executive Committee as well as Asia-Pacific and Global Communications colleagues to successfully execute a cohesive communications strategy in Australia.
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- Experience in financial services communications, or experience at a communications agency supporting regulated industries like technology, banking, financial services.
- Strong relationships with Australian media
- Proven ability to operate within a global matrix and prioritise competing demands.
- Proven ability to align to a global strategy, whilst maintaining an awareness of local sensitivities and nuance.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills and ability to produce clear, engaging narrative.
