Based in Reservoir, HLS is a young, fast growing commercial laundry that solely services the linen and laundry needs of Victoria's accommodation industry. We are a family-owned business, that has an unwavering focus on keeping things fun, friendly and fair for our entire team

We are now looking for our next Team Supervisor to assist with the day-to-day operations on the sorting side of our laundry plant.

**About You**
- You or may not have experience working in a laundry, but what you do have is a keen interest in people and working as part of a team. Even if you have a busy workload, you still find the time to show initiative and lend a helping hand to the rest of your team when required.
- Whether you have worked as a Team Leader or Supervisor, have a strong foundation working as part of teams. You value building relationships with others and are motivated towards setting the rest of your team up for success.
- Although you are looking to move into a role that involves overseeing day-to-day operations, you still want a role that is somewhat hands-on. Physical work is of particular interest to you, given that you enjoy moving around and staying active

**About the Role**

Working closely with our General Manager, Operations Manager and other members of staff, you will add significant value to the HLS team:

- Overseeing team performance on the sorting section of the plant (e.g. speed, efficiency and attention to detail)
- Executing production and proactive maintenance schedules
- Sorting and correctly arranging linen that arrives to the plant
- Liasing with suppliers
- Learning how to operate the plant machinery involved in the washing and finishing process
- Organising the rostering process of shift times
- Helping to maintain the highest standard of linen quality, plant cleanliness, and safety

**Selection Criteria**

We aren’t looking for someone who has prior laundry working experience. All we require is for you to tick the list below:

- Experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role
- Have an interest in building relationships with people
- Enjoy physical work
