About the Role

Big Event Picnic Tables is looking for a **hands-on Outdoor Furniture Builder** to join our growing team. You’ll be part of our manufacturing crew, building high-quality timber furniture used at Australia’s biggest festivals, community events, and commercial spaces.

This is a **practical, hands-on role** for someone who enjoys working with timber, tools, and machinery - and seeing the results of their work make a difference at events across the country.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Building outdoor timber furniture (picnic tables, benches, beer garden sets, high bars, pallet furniture)
- Using saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking tools
- Painting, staining, and finishing timber products
- Completing basic repairs and refurbishments between hires
- Working as part of a team to meet production schedules
- Occasionally helping with **on-site event builds** (great variety - not stuck in the warehouse all day)
- Optional overtime during peak event season (weekends available if desired)

What We’re Looking For
- Carpentry / woodworking experience preferred
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and a consistent work pace
- Comfortable using power tools and working in a safe, efficient manner
- Team player with a strong work ethic - “getting your hands dirty” is part of our culture
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality workmanship

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
