**YOUR ROLE**

By leading and motivating your high-performing small team, this hands on role is vital to the successful running of our local operations and the delivery of service excellence to our clients. As a part of the role you will be accountable for all Operational requirements and driving continuous improvement to deliver high customer service levels and to achieve budgeted outcomes.

The wellbeing and morale of the team is also in your hands, so ensuring overall safety compliance, providing regular team communications, managing effective labour planning, plus coaching and development are key to your success and that of the team.

You will have exposure to multiple areas of the Business and have the full support and guidance from senior management.

You have a positive attitude, and you’re a quick learner who can think on their feet, seeing challenges as opportunities and given the size of the business, strong time management skills will be crucial to meeting deadlines. You have great attention to detail and understand warehouse systems, including pick/pack environment, as well as a keen interest in delivering Operational excellence. Experience with managing dangerous goods and chain of responsibility is a must.

You are confident and effective with verbal and written communication and can deal with customers, staff and management at all levels. Your understanding of Warehouse Management processes and procedures will help you drive continuous improvement. Intermediate MS Office skills (Word & Excel) and RF scanning knowledge is also required.

The essentials we are looking for are:

- Understanding of OH&S
- Fast-paced warehouse knowledge
- Proven people leadership skills
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience in pick & packing environment

It would be ideal if you also had:

- Cert III in Warehousing
- Proven Customer Service Excellence
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of RF scanning
- Proficient operation of a forklift with relevant qualifications
