Deadline is a leading provider within Sydney in both the retail & commercial sectors, having been in business for over 35 years. It has built for itself a reputable name amongst businesses and our return clients as a trusted, honest and competitive company with unwavering quality on workmanship & delivery.

We seek a professional Draftsman who will be a great fit within our work culture, and adapt well in a close knit, fast paced environment. The role is based on site in the factory and working remotely is not an option. If you do not reside in Sydney, you need not apply. Due to our shop-fitting & joinery capacity, we require a draftsman who ideally has a joinery background or ample experience working with joinery. We use Microvellum as our software due to its capabilities in custom joinery & detailed fit-outs.

if you meet the below requirements, we would love to hear from you.
- Proficient in Autocad & Microvellum or willing to learn to use Microvellum
- Trade background in joinery & shop fitting or ample experience working with both
- Must be able to read architectural drawings and plans
- Must have good communication skills & be able to work well in a team environment.
- Must live in Sydney as role is based onsite.
- **Role Duties Include, although not limited to;**_
- Assist with drafting various types of joinery
- Problem solve any design issues
- Prepare shop drawings
- Possess good knowledge of materials used in the industry
- Ordering of required materials for each job
- Work closely with our Project & Operations Managers for each job
- Assist with quoting and invoicing
- Help drive our joinery team

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
