Lifeguards

As a Lifeguard, you will provide high levels of patron supervision, safety and education, while ensuring customers achieve enjoyment and high levels of service.

You are a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, well developed time management skills and a good understanding of aquatic centre operations and have worked in a customer focussed environment.

It is essential that you possess the following:

- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Qualification (CPR)

It will be highly regarded if you possess:

- Pool Plant Operators Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Swim Teaching Certificate
- Basic computer skills including point of sale
- Experience in a similar role, involving customer service or providing direction/instruction to others
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to resolve problems and deal with complaints
- Ability to work well as part of a team

**Aqua Jetty** operates seven days per week, from 5.00am to 9.15pm Monday to Friday; 5.00am to 7.15pm Saturday and 6.30am to 7.15pm Sunday. All shifts will fall within these hours of operation.

**Rockingham Aquatic Centre** operates seven days per week, during the months September to April. All shifts will fall within these hours of operation, view the City of Rockingham website for operating hours.

We are offering an hourly rate of $33.61 and12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to an additional 5%.
