**The role**:
We’re seeking a Processing Team Leader to lead and coordinate operations at our busy Dover factory. Based 90 minutes south of Hobart and reporting to the Factory Manager, this is a permanent, hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive performance, safety, and compliance while managing a team in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll supervise daily activities, provide direction and support to the Processing team, uphold quality standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement - all while maintaining Tassal’s commitment to safety and sustainability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the processing team to meet KPIs for cost, yield, and output.
- Oversee team performance through direction, assistance, and support.
- Maintain a safe workplace, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
- Uphold quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Manage risk and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Lead and drive change initiatives to build a strong team culture.
- Role-model positive behaviours aligned with Tassal’s code of conduct.

**Role requirements**:

- Proven leadership/supervisory experience in a production environment (food processing or FMCG preferred).
- Experience in people and product safety management.
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills; a solution-focused team player.
- Passion for safety, quality, and team development.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to a safe working environment.
- Full-time working rights in Australia.
