**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will show the ability to provide thought leadership and strategic direction in relation to analysis of business information needs leading to a business enablement which ensures delivery of services which are fit for purpose for our customers. You will show that you have a keen attention to detail, that you are able to follow style guides and produce quality finalised documentation ready to be shared with our customers.

Collaborate with technical and business teams, together with delivery managers alike to understand the required technical capabilities and to translate those into commercial products that are valuable to the customer and profitable for the company.

You'll have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills along with good time management, planning and organising skills. You are analytically minded with strong problem-solving skills and hold a high level of initiative and self-motivation. You'll also have:

- Experience in technical writing and or document editing within a large, complex environment
- Good knowledge across a broad array of technology and domains
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft office suite, editing and publishing tools, and Defence’s electronic document records management system
- Experience with IT Service Management and Project Management Office support functions
- Standardising and editing technical documentation prepared by managers, engineers, architects and other technical team members.
- Ensuring materials are organised and completed within identified timeframes in accordance with defined standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
- Assisting in the development of in house and project documentation.
