This is a fire safety brand that have been established for many decades and are well known for their considerable market share in managing essential fire safety measures and routine checks for large strata, commercial, industrial and multi-storey buildings.
The business are situated in metropolitan NSW area and have over 30 staff on the field and in the office. The brand is led by a team of passionate, innovative and forward thinking leaders who are on a large curb of growth and expansion.

**The position**
This position is a mid-senior level role in the business in which you will be managing a portfolio of client sites across NSW and have a team of technicians assisting you in your routines.
This position as a Fire Safety Practitioner is to manage the checking and signing off of essential fire measures most of which falling under the FPA accredited measures. You will be on site, doing the checks, compliance and reporting maintenance, repairs and upgrades or passes / fails.
- Day to day in the field and in the office
- Routine checks and assessments of fire safety in buildings
- Handling the routine checks for fire safety measures
- Reporting on defects, maintenance, pass, failure and compliance
- Doing checks on; suppression systems, dampers, lighting, lifts, hydrants, windows, portables, shutters, doors and much more
- Having assistance and technicians on the field supporting you
- Collaborative team and senior management to work with
- Client sites mainly in metro Sydney area and surrounds

**The experience needed**
To be considered for this role it is essential that you have SOME of the FPA accreditation completed for a few of the fire safety measures. The main ones of need are: suppression systems, lifts, planning, control rooms, dampers, doors, hydrants, shutters, windows, curtains, standby power.
You will ideally have experience in doing fire safety checks and assessments across commercial sites and multi-storey buildings.
- Experience in doing fire safety assessment checks on buildings
- Have completed some of the FPA accredited measures listed above
- Have a strong eye for compliance and safety
- Understand practical fire safety in buildings and facilities
- Can work in a flexible autonomous nature at times
