Storeperson

**Role**:
To contribute to the Parts Department sale of parts and accessories by carrying out day to day functions involved in warehousing and storage of parts and accessories. To provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- **Duties/Responsibilities**:_
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and the use of all 'tools' provided.
- Identify automotive parts and components
- Maintain parts in their correct location.
- Ensure that all Picking Slips have full details: Delivery, pick-up, customer details etc.
- Request all necessary details to ensure correct delivery of parts.
- Ensure all parts are checked for quality and correctness when receipting and/or despatching.
- Ensure Delivery work sheet is correctly filed out.
- Maintain good housekeeping in both personal workstations and the entire Parts Department.
- All 'stop credits' information should be forwarded to the Parts Manager.
- To follow company’s policies in regards to cash handling and issuing of credit notes.
- Prepare and cost out invoices correctly.
- To ensure that customer orders are processed efficiently before order ‘cut off’ and delivery times.
- Ensure Parts to PD supply procedure is followed.
- Forward all lost or found parts on worksheet for appraisal.
- To follow company’s policies in regards to cash handling and issuing of credit notes.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in all aspects of automotive parts and accessories warehousing and selling.
- Computer literate.
- Developed knowledge of the automotive industry
- Customer service focused
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment
- Technical parts knowledge in the automotive field
- Good organisational skills
- Technical Aptitude
- Current Qld Manual Driver’s licence.
- Fork Lift Licence

**Salary**: From $22.77 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Springwood, QLD 4127: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
