Apprentice Fitter

**Are you ready to take the first step in the exciting world of Manufacturing and Engineering?**

This structured and comprehensive apprenticeship combines hands-on experience with formal training to gain a **Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade. **Work alongside highly skilled professionals in a modern well equipped workshop with a positive team culture

**Duties may include but not limited to**:

- Fabricating, assembling, repairing and maintaining various equipment and machinery
- Operating equipment such as lathes, mills and drilling / welding equipment
- Performing engineering measurements
- Interacting with computing technology
- Using hand and power tools
- Performing fault diagnostics

**Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria**:

- Be able to demonstrate strong mathematical ability
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated with effective learning and communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
- Have a basic understanding of hand power tool operations
- Have fault finding and problem solving abilities
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Cert II in Engineering Pathways an advantage
- Reliable transport to work, car and licence preferred
