Now Hiring Painting Trades Worker

Etch Coatings is presently seeking skilled Painting Trades Worker to join our committed and proficient team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Set up scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.
- Remove old paint and wallpaper, fix woodwork, fill holes and cracks, and smooth and seal surfaces to prepare for new finishes.
- Be able to perform sandblasting and spray painting.
- Select and prepare paints to required colors by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
- Hang wallpaper, match patterns, and trim edges to ensure a professional finish.
- Clean equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- May repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames and lay and repair wall and floor tiles as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or
- AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
- OR at least three years of relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and dedication.

Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive salary with guaranteed annual earnings starting at $73,150-$75,000 + Superannuation
- Full-time, permanent position 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
- Overtime pays and additional benefits included.

Pay: From $73,150.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
