IP Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to work with one of our clients located in Canning Vale. This position will see you working in a busy steel yard that uses various fixed plant machines and cranes. You will be required to carry out preventative maintenance as well as break down work. This position offers an immediate start, great long term opportunities, regular overtime and great career progression. To be considered for for this role all applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

- Be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia
- Have an Australian trade certificate
- Have previous experience in a busy manufacturing environment
- Have the ability to work day and afternoon shift
- Be looking for a long term position
- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Canning Vale, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: One location
