About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading the planning, implementation, and quality assurance of the school's curriculum and assessment, in alignment with the Australian Curriculum and the CARF.
Leading the Teaching and Learning team to support teachers in delivering high-quality pedagogical instruction (in alignment with the school's Explicit Improvement Agenda), through professional development, coaching, and mentoring.
Leading the development and implementation of a high quality and targeted New and Beginning Teachers program to support teacher development.
Analysing student achievement data to inform curriculum improvements and targeted professional development.
Building teacher capacity to deliver curriculum and assessment that inclusively caters to diverse student learning needs.
Leading collegial planning sessions with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance curriculum delivery.
Developing and leading professional learning opportunities for staff to ensure ongoing professional growth and development.
Strengthening future workforce capacity by partnering with universities, Heads of Departments, and teachers to support and develop pre-service teachers.
Collaborating with Curriculum Heads of Department to build teachers' capacity to enact whole-school moderation processes.
Leading the strategic direction of the Resource Centre, including managing staffing budget and resourcing.
Collaboratively leading whole-school Academic Integrity.
Leading the implementation of digital platforms relating to curriculum, teaching and learning.
