Our client is a large multinational packaging company with an extensive footprint in the Australian market. They are experiencing strong business growth and as such are expanding their design team. This role would report directly to the Design Manager and will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination between the design and production teams.

**The Job**:

- Check and create samples and mock-up productions to ensure quality standards and client requirements are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, marketing, design and production providing technical insights and expertise.
- Assess design concepts for production compatibility, considering factors such as materials, manufacturing processes, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop clear instructions for gluing and packing, ensuring efficient and error-free execution.
- Manage specifications for packaging and shipping, optimising space utilisation and transportation efficiency.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Design or Engineering (or both) are preferred.
- Strong MS Excel skills, allowing you to effectively analyse data and generate reports.
- A desire to grow your career within the packaging industry.
