Our client is a family-owned industry leading têxtile manufacturer who are seeking an exceptional Production Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to oversee production strategy, maintenance, and production planning. This opportunity is an ongoing permanent full-time position with a manufacturing success story, still expanding and attracting global talent to Adelaide. The position requires a committed hands-on attitude and flexibility in your approach to create quality outcomes.

To successfully achieve your objective in this role, you will need:

- Quality Assurance ISO9001, Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Point/ or FSCC
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including excel.
- Work Health and Safety Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in production planning and supply chain management.

As Production Manager you will work collaboratively with the sales, quality assurance, manufacturing, and logistics managers to efficiently plan production objectives.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Production scheduling against customer demands
- Managing production materials and equipment maintenance
- Involvement in continuous improvement and training initiatives
- Work health and safety management
- Driving production strategy

Ideally you would have tertiary qualifications to support your production management experience particularly in manufacturing or production management. You will bring a positive, adaptive, and collaborative attitude and most importantly will be passionate about going above and beyond in achieving your strategic goals. You will be inclined to think strategically in alignment with your adjacent teams, have demonstrated leadership skills and demonstrated levels of high communication skills in both verbal and written communication.
