An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Specialist in our iconic Manufacturing plant based in Botany. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role is responsible for the master planning and coordination of the Preventative Maintenance & Asset Care Program for the site, including compliance for quality systems which include HACCP & BRC. The role also encompasses Electrical Continuous Improvement of the Botany site though developing and maintaining best practice.

This role forms an integral part of our maintenance team, partnering with our shift operations team, committed to improving operability, reliability and availability of our Botany Plant.

Key responsibilities include:_**
- Accountable for planning and scheduling of electrical jobs to improve operability, reliability and availability of plant and equipment including eliminating reoccurring equipment issue and reducing unplanned equipment downtime.
- Partners cross functionally to continuously improve factory performance including daily coordination of maintenance activities
- Develops, improves and operates current preventative and predictive maintenance programs and continuously reviews existing PMs to ensure plant reliability.
- Responsible for the scheduling of all related suppliers and contractors.
- Manages the work order system to ensure appropriate tracking, completion and compliance.
- Support development of detailed designs and scope of works for Electrical & Instrumentation system upgrades, modifications and new installations
- Provide consultation and advise to all site maintenance personnel on Electrical, Control and Instrumentation system issues

Skills, experience & attributes sought:_**
- Certificate III in Electro Technology and Electrician and/or Certificate III Electronics and Communications + Unrestricted NSW Electrical License
- A solid understanding of predictive maintenance processes, Maintenance Planning & a significant knowledge of the SAP system
- High level of proficiency with Allen Bradley and Modicon PLC’s or similar
- High level of proficiency in systems such as:

- HV (up to 11KV) & LV Distribution Systems,
- VSD’s, Soft Starters
- Plant Lighting.
- Historian Software (OSI- PI)
- Microsoft SQL Servers
- Instrumentation
- Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature, Control system
- AS4024 (Safety of Machinery)
- Proven ability to problem-solve and fault-find electrical circuits including use of Root Cause Analysis tools
- Strong first line supervisory experience is also a prerequisite for this position.
- Extensive knowledge of all production areas & a general knowledge of production environments with experience within the fast moving consumer goods & food industry is very desirable.
